Contract - no PAT or landlord insurance

Hello all,

I am proceeding to contract stage with my tenants, but do not have a PAT certificate or landlord insurance. Both are not required by law, as I understand it, but I cannot seem to remove them from the OR tenancy agreement, or proceed without selecting that I have them.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is the solution to proceed with them selected, but manually strike them out before anyone signs anything?

Hi Liana,

Ticking each box tells us that you’re compliant, or that the requirement does not apply to the property (for example, if there was no gas supply, you would not need a CP12).

There’s no requirement to enter a date in each field if this is not applicable - you can still proceed to issuing the contract.
