My tenant signed the (template) contract by typing his name and date onto the Word document.
I signed by pasting in a pic of my written signature.
Is this binding and correct? (I’m hoping so!)

Tenancies don’t need to be signed or even written to be valid, but if you want to rely on the provisions of the contract, it needs to be signed properly. Supply them with a paper copy or one that can be properly electronically signed.

Is this now enough, or do I need to get the paper copy, sign it, and return a copy to him?
