OpenRent referencing simply refused my prospective landlord the option to buy rent guarantee insurance, without giving a reason.
I later found out that I incorrectly typed my passport number, so this may have been a problem.
How do I correct that? Looks like there is no human to talk to and no option to correct my personal information.
Get the LL to talk to OR but Im guessing they’d need to do the referencing again at further cost and time to LL.
If you failed referencing for any reason neither OR nor any insurance co will offer RGI that’s quite reasonable.

That’s the thing. I did not fail referencing. I got a pass. Then the landlord got a “computer says no” answer for the RGI and we are having to guess what is going on.
@Fabio5 you may have overall passed referencing but with concerns on specific items such as ID if you gave an incorrect passport number. Or you eg might not have a long credit history but that wouldn’t always mean you fail referencing. Passing referencing doesn’t gtee an offer of RGI.
You can try getting the referencing done again with correct passport number and a guarantor (if you don’t have there are companies you can pay to act as guarantor).
