Creating Contract only under my Wife and company name

Hi,

I have advertised a property using my OpenRent account. The property belongs to a limited company where my wife is the sole director.
Can I create an AST contract under the company name where my wife will be the only landlord and signatory.

One of the tenant has agreed to rent the property and has also paid the holding deposit. Pls help.

Yes you can, all of the documentation should be under the name of the limited company and your wife should be the signatory.

If using RentNow, it is easy to add the Ltd company name in the advanced settings when creating the contract, but this will still be you signing on behalf of the company.

For your wife to sign, I suggest you create a new log in to OR in your wife’s name, & start again.
