I am an open rent landlord.
Do I need to use any letting agency to create an inventory.
Or can we use any template?
Hope if we are doing on our own we need to take photographs of different parts / items in the property, a few lines of description and both the tenant & landlord sign & date it.

I use the inventory service offered by Openrent. Many landlords do their own inventory, it’s not mandatory to use a third party. I would recommend having a search for the term inventory in the forum, as this topic has come up a few times, and there have been some good advice given by landlords on how to do your own inventory.
