Deposit issues as a Landlord

Hi my tenants moved out a week ago and damaged a few things which they admit and have asked for costs to rectify which I have now got quotes for. I have 1 day left to make these deposit claims but I cannot for the lid eof me work out how to do it from the open rent website OR the Total property website (the link open rent sends me to - from their ‘how to’) I can see the tenancy on the Total property website but no option to claim, it always weirdly says its an active tenancy when in fact it ended 7 days ago. https://help.openrent.co.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/360013683991-My-tenancy-has-ended-how-do-I-return-the-deposit-to-my-tenants

I’m panicking I won’t be able to get the money back for the repairs if I don’t problem solve the open rent /total property website navigation. I just can’t see where to claim when I am in either websites and I’ve followed the instructions. Could it be that they ended the tenancy and not me ? Is there a super quick way to talk to open rent?

I didn’t know Openrent have ever placed deposits with ‘Total property’. I thought they used Mydeposits?

I suspect you might have a long running tenancy, so the instructions on the link won’t apply, as they look like the new procedures for new tenancies wrote in the last few months.
