Hi there, we are very new to Open Rent. Wanted to ask, if a tenancy agreement is ended by either the tenant or ourselves, are the pro rata calculations and payments done through Open Rent System or are any pro-rata payments dealt with outside the Open Rent system and we get the tenants to make Bank Transfers directly to us? We usually use Rent Now. Thanks!
Yes, you end up with unusual amounts of pro-rata payments. but you need to make sure that you, the tenant and OR all have the same ending date in mind, not just the date but the time of day and whether that day is included as a rent day or not. E.g. it might be out by 9am and that might not be treated as a rent day, or out by 5pm and that is.
