Now here is something I have never heard of before. I have just heard of a bailiff who could not evict a non paying tenant because she had cats that needed rehoming first. The landlord did not know about the cats and the eviction did not go ahead. The tenant said " you cannot evict me because i have nowhere to take my cats" It never went ahead! Any thoughts anyone.
I believe councils won’t consider rehoming someone who has a pet. That might be the issue.

Just what I’ve heard. No personal experience. Sounds like another reason to change my policy on accepting pets.
Maybe its something to do with pets not allowed in temporary accomodation, or hostels.
