Can anyone please advise whether it is a mandatory requirement as a landlord of a private family dwelling to conduct a Fire Risk Assessment under S235 of the Housing Act 2004?

Does the private family dwelling share common parts, like a hallway leading to other dwellings?

Does your insurance policy state that the building complies (where applicable) with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005? Mine does.
