Hello, my tenant wants to move in and pay deposit the same day. Is that possible through open rent.

Thanks for your question.
With our Rent Now service tenants can settle their final balance on the agreed move in date but it is not something that we recommend.
We always advise landlords to only hand over keys to a property once they have confirmation that the full balance has been paid by the tenant(s).
While most bank transfers, between UK banks, take a couple of hours, in some circumstances it can take two or three working days for the funds to reach the new account. Additionally, if the payment is coming from an international bank it can take up to 10 working days for the transfer to complete.
Therefore, waiting until the move in day to make the payment risks unexpected delays.
