Hi, I am new to OpenRent (as a Landlord) and trying to navigate around it. Quick question to those experienced .. When you respond via a message to someone requesting a viewing, where does there answer land up? . I have responded to 4 requests but I dont seem to have received any answers , so just want to check that I am doing it correctly. Thanks in advance. Claire
@Mwa_Homes_Ltd often messages sent via openrent go to your [and tenants’] junk folders. Dont rely on OR messaging to contact tenants.
Put your contact tel on an auto-reply message saying ‘Thank you for your enquiry. I do my best to respond promptly, but please be patient. However Openrent messaging is unreliable. If you dont hear back from me please check your junk mail. I can also be contacted by txt on .’
IF you sign up to ‘Rent Now’ you will be able to see tenant’s contact details [email/phone] and can follow up that way as well
