There is a company called GHSTAYs operating on this platform and other websites that I believe is engaging in fraudulent practices. They request rent and deposit payments upfront, only to evict tenants before the end of their lease without reasonable cause. Despite these actions, they refuse to issue refunds and fail to respond to any attempts at communication. Initially, I was led to believe I was dealing with a landlord, but it has become clear that this is a management company based in India, using a fake address in London.
Unfortunately, I have fallen victim to this scam, which has significantly impacted my emotional and financial well-being. They have completely ignored all my efforts to resolve the matter. I have since reported their ads on Openrent in the hope of preventing others from becoming victims of this fraudulent activity.
