How long do i have to wait for money into my account

Good evening, everyone. I need your help, please. In short, Rent Insurance Company from OpenRent (a legal protection company) decided to pay us the rental money. They sent a confirmation email on 19th August. In the letter, they stated that it would take 5 to 7 working days to process the payment in my account. However, now it is 4th September, and not a single penny has been shown in my account. I had to make two calls to find out why, and no luck at all. They said they have to wait for the response from the financial department, they will let me know in 24 hours, but again, no response at all. Now I am a little anxious, does anyone have relevant experience, and how long do I have to wait for claim money?

Has this been resolved? If not I’ll follow up via email and get in touch with the insurer.

No yet, but they said they will pay by the end of this week, will update here as soon as I receive it

a quick update, as soon as I replied here, this afternoon I received money, a big sum but still 200 pounds short, I send the email to find out why. Again, thank everyone here and openrent as well
