How to Rent Guide- Validity

Hi,
Found that we need to provide Printed 90+ pages of the How to rent guide to tenants. If soft copy we need to first ask them if they happy to receive via email and then 24hrs later we have tp email this document,
Is the Openrent portal process take care of this step and is it a valid legal process.
A friend going thru the legal process and Legal team was telling him that this was the correct process.

Anyone in Openrent can comment the documents on portal (Gas certificate.EPC.EHIC etc are all ticking the legal boxes please?

The right to rent document is serviced by Openrent by email, which you receive a copy of. I think if you read this email, it explains it there.

Likewise, when you upload documents to the portal, a copy goes by email, and you receive a copy of that email, which you should keep as your proof.

The Openrent AST agrees that documents could be served by email.

I’m sure Openrent would have checked the legality of these processes.
