I’ve had a crazy few weeks and completely forgot to get a gas certificate!!
It was due to be renewed last week and I’ve only just realised now…
I don’t have any tenants in the property at the moment… is it still fine to do it now or do I need to back-date it or something?!
You only need it when you have tenants, so you can leave it till shortly before they move in
If you have a new boiler don’t forget to fill in your service book too
If you are advertising with an estate agent send it to them too
They can’t advertise without the certificate
