Incomes not stacked and “unreliable” letting history HELP

Hey guys I’m hoping someone can help!

So me and my partner are currently in the referencing phase of moving into our new flat and the landlord has told us there has been a couple issues

One being that me and my partners incomes haven’t stacked and also our letting history is “unreliable” which is strange because we have been renting in London for the past 2.5 years.

What is the best way to go about fixing this as our move in date is the end of the month and it’s got us stressed.

Hopefully you haven’t given notice on your current place?

If you have failed referencing and affordability then sound like landlord is getting nervous, understandably. If possible volunteer a home owner guarantor and rent in advance which may help to satisfy.
