My friend rents out 2 rooms in her house. Her tenants are not observing lockdown rules and are putting her and themselves in danger. She has spoken to them both but no luck. What can she do?
Tell local council and see a police officer
As well as what Colin says you may further wish to clarify what kind of agreement is in place as I am rather sure there is no tenancy agreement under the AST as if there is it is probably invalid as they should be lodges on the license or without which actually changes the whole ball game as if they are not a legal tenant then the legal rules are different And more in favour of the homeowner.
