If new legislation means I need to join a landlord accreditation scheme I would prefer to join one run by Openrent as they already have all my documentation and provide all the regulatory info for training requirement.
Can someone from the Openrent team advise if this may be a service openrent provides the in the future?
I havent seen any Government proposals for compulsory accreditation.
My council is encouraging landlords to join an accredited scheme as part of new council wide selective licence application process. The new govt portal for landlords proposed in Decent Homes Standard legislation (Nov 23) may be enough to satisfy this requiremenf in future.
