Is there a way to contact a landlord without a property currently on the market?

I’ve seen a few properties that were let between 6-12 months in the area I am looking for and they look perfect!

Unfortunately you cannot enquire as let agreed. I just wondered if there was a way to message the landlord to see if the agreement was coming to an end?
