Joint Tenant referencing, one tenant passed and one failed

Monthly Rent: £2,000.00

One tenant Maximum Rental Affordability: £666.67 and affordability check failed

Second tenant Maximum Rental Affordability: £1,166.67 and affordability check passed

None of them has affordability for 2000£ , so how come one tenant failed and another tenant passed.

Also together, their affordability is £ 1833.34 which is close to monthly rent. So why can not rent calculate join affordability and pass the joint tenancy reference checks ?

If you haven’t even got affordability with both of them combined, why are you even considering them? Move on.

BTW, affordability is calculated by looking at 6 months of bank statements for free, not paying for referencing.
