Hi everyone I have for the past 3/4 weeks been emailing my landlord to come out and fix the shower and other bits that need doing and have heard nothing back at all I don’t want to fork out for a plumber to come and fix it as it isn’t for me to pay for it what can I do ?
Hi George, if repairs are needed (e.g. you cannot shower) and not being undetaken depsite your request, then you could inform the landlord that you will have to contact your local authority’s environmental health team. EH can order the landlord to make the repairs and can incentivise them to do so with penalties.
