I have been a tenant for 28 years no agreement no rent book but I pay council tax landlord wants us out as the property is in first stages of development for houses ,and he sold field plus land that we are on ,no warning nothing we are up to date with all bills including rent I told him I wasn’t moving I have nothing in writing ,I love in Scotland ps he has failed to replace leaking doors and windows we have black mold in three rooms plus bathroom he got electric fixed as I was electrocuted in bed when lamp wire touched damp wall where do we stand
Go to the Council or phone Shelter Scotland.
why put up with this for all this time and only now bring up the issue ? You should have gone to the council years ago.
