Greedy government politicians and the tax man robbing us with annual self assessments, which in itself is complicated to fill.
I’m not happy that like any other ltd company why a landlord cannot offset interest payments as a capital expense. Also what makes me mad is that they keep changing laws all the time finding ways to rob hard working landlords money in what they see as a lucrative market. Seems as though politicians and their little economist worker bods have only one idea to generate revenue - rob the private landlord. They can’t seem to think of anything else.
Another law change coming soon too, scrapping S21! I need to leave this country I think. They will tax us to the hilt and ruin all business until there is nothing left to run.
