I am moving back to my home town after living away for work purposes.
I have managed to find a flat close to family and a good distance to work etc.
i received a call from the letting agency to say that the property had a leak whilst vacant so this has pushed back the date to commence the tenancy.
They have completed a damp survey and everything is ok apparently. At the moment they are drying out the property using dehumidifiers and estimate it should be ready in 2 weeks.
I don’t need to move back until the end of July however ideally would like to move a couple of weeks earlier so I can sort the flat out prior to starting back at work.
I suppose I’m posting to ask if there is anything I should be looking for when I do eventually sign the tenancy?
