Are you saying you can’t find a property you like? Or are you saying landlords keep rejecting your applications to rent?
Applications keep getting rejected as on benefits and don’t have guarantor
I’ve just been reading an article which says;
Currently, only 284,000 rental homes are available nationwide, a decline of 18% from last year and 23% from 2019.
Sadly, tenants will continue to find it difficult to find rental property, and Landlords will continue to choose those applicants whom they consider the least risk. Landlord will do this, as the government continues to increase the risk, costs & obligations of Landlords with more & more red tape, and legal obligations. The Government is convinced to do this, by the arguments of the likes of Shelter & Generation Rent, who sadly, are the ones who continue to drive this change, most of which is to the detriment of tenants like yourself.

Realistically if you find a place and you stop paying it can be a year getting you out. The laws are so heavily in favour of tenants these days esp wrt re gaining possession that you are a not a great candidate. Statistically landlords get a lot more issues with benefits tenants. Oh and when a tenant leaves the government will not pay unpaid rent, so nice of them.
So its nothing personal against you, dont ever think that. Eventually you will find something but please realise that successive governments arent helping tenants with their short sighted populist vote getting measures. Once as a LL I had many benefits on my books , now i just have to be more risk averse
