Hi, we are two students sharing a flat in London. I managed to pay half of the rent and deposit without issue using Transferwise, but my flatmate’s transfer hasn’t gone through. She contacted Transferwise, they received the money and transferred it (she has the receipts). She payed extra fees so that the transfer would be made on the same day and the money is out of her account.
But it still doesn’t appear on our Openrent balance and it needs to so the contract can be finalized. She contacted Openrent, they said it takes time for it to go through, but my transfer was instantaneous and she did hers 10 days ago. We’re asking for advice on how to go forward as it’s such a big amount of money and we need the contract to be in effect
