More than one Guarantor

I have a new Tenant application and I’m going to ask them for a Guarantor which will likely be one parent. I am not sure that at referencing they will have enough income to pass. Can I request both parents to be Guarantors and use their combined income , referencing both of them and will the reference company take into account the combined income?

Yes you can , are they both working or have a house ? Or better still cash or assets!
I would personally go for a parent and another as you get best of both
