Neighbour Eviction

Hello all, I have been suffering from Anti Social behaviour by a neighbour for 2 years now, I am just wondering who Serves the Eviction papers, As someone was here yesterday looking for there property and claimed He Needs to Serve some Papers, I am hoping it’s a Eviction Notice.

They was given there Final warning a week ago and the police have been out Twice since. These are Social Tenants, Numerous people have been sending evidence of their behaviour for the last 6-8 Months.

Also does anyone know a timescale if it is Eviction for ASB as an assured tenant.

Thank you.

It depends what is being served. If its the court bailiffs papers, maybe 6-12 weeks, if its notice of the court possession hearing, maybe 10-20 weeks, if its just the landlords notice then more like 40 weeks. Thats if the court agrees to evict, as ASB is a discretionary possession claim.
