How does a person who has never rented before get started? I am British and relocating back to the UK after 14 years of livibg abroad but have no history of renting as I have always had my own home. I would be working online so proof of job isnt possible, neither are references. However I can prove more than sufficient funding Would a year up front help? I also have pets.
I would not offer a year upfront. Personally I am suspicious.
I do ask for internationals to pay upfront, though.
You would require a landlord reference ( or your own mortgage statements), bank statements and a guarantor employers reference and payslips
Be prepared to pay extra for pets
