Hello there. I just viewed a property today and we decided to take it straight away, texted the agent as soon as we got out ( another person showed us the flat) , asking for the next steps etc.
We were asked some questions about ourselves such as income, occupation. Then we were informed that we would receive an email tomorrow morning from the agency to start the referencing. So I asked if I needed to pay a holding deposit and the person explained that yes once I will pay that tomorrow morning , they will not show the flat to anyone. Question is :
Has anyone had this experience before ? I searched for the agency and they are registered and cant find anything bad. Is it normal not to go through rent now? I have to say they were not pushy at all in anything.
