Open Banking and referencing

Prospective tenants have just failed referencing because their bank does not support Open Banking. They have supplied three months’ worth of payslips for both of them which is evidence that they would pass the referencing if they were with a different bank.
Because they have failed, we cannot access RGI. Short of asking them to change their bank, there doesn’t seem to be any way we can get RGI simply because they chose to bank with the ‘wrong sort of bank’.
