I have a tenant via open rent and using open rent referencing.
Tenant has a good job at ITV, ITV HR have confirmed employment and salary. Open rent will not accept it as not there form. So salary not confirmed.
I want to take out landlord protection insurance - will it now be rejected.
what is needed to pass referencing?
so frustrating as info is in the letter, just not on open rent letter head.
@Sandy5 ask OR support to sort this - it is not in their interest to wrongly reference people and if something in their standard automated referencing process isn’t working to get somebodys salary its for them to sort out that is what they are being paid for. This won’t be the first instance where their ‘forms’ don’t work

Could the tenant not agree to ‘Open Banking’ when they did their reference, as this will enable income to proved easily in minutes.
