They had the house up for a cheap price and had many enquires. Asked for emails phone numbers etc.
Open rent said the property had be let. They emailed to say they had so many offers that they “paused” the listing. Asked for holding deposit before viewing. Which was way higher than 1 weeks rent. 2x monthly rent. Then made a well done fake open rent email and contract asking to bank transfer the deposit. I obviously didn’t send it but could see why someone may fall for this scam.
