I would be grateful for any advice anyone can give me from their previous experience.
i obtained a section 8 possession order, from the Stratford County Court on 17/04/2025. Up till today, over 7 weeks, i still haven’t received the possession order letter.
I chased this by email and was told it was sent to my solicitor on 29/04/2025. My solicitor hasn’t received it. I have informed the court by email, but received no response.
i have gone to the court, but they wouldn’t attend to me as they only attend to tenants facing imminent eviction, and only by appointment. The only public telephone number they have is also for the same purpose.
i am at a loss as to what to do.
i want to transfer the case to the High Court, for the warrant of eviction, due to the 8 months delay in the area for County Court bailiffs. Unfortunately, the High Court bailiffs will not take the instruction to process the transfer without the possession order letter.
The tenant is over 7 months in arrears owing nearly £12,000!
Can anyone please give me the wisdom of their experience?
