I understand that part of the open rent process is to pre screen and if successful applicant can pay a holding fee and request a viewing.
We prefer to do a one day back to back multiple viewing for all potential tenants and find vetting someone face to face gives us a better idea of the persons trustability and suitability. However the system will only allow one person to pay a holding deposit and arrange a viewing. Does anyone know a way to bipass this so we can arrange multiple viewings following the pre screen process ( we dont want holding deposits)
Would prefer advert to have our direct contact details to arrange viewings but it seems this is not possible. Want to avoid multiple trips to the property as not convenient.?
You can arrange as many viewings as you like through the messaging portal on openrent. Nobody should be asked to pay a holding deposit before that nor do they need to.

Thanks but they have an automated button that tenant has to click on to proceed and it takes holding deposit to show how serious they are before arranging viewing … there isnt a function to contact landlord to book viewing without this 
If you just opt for open rent free ad ( so not full ohe with right move) they can still put on auto screening automatically if a lot of interest which takes tenantvstraight to this process

You are wrong. Please take the time to view any other listing, and you will see an ‘enquire about this property’ button. This button enables them to send a message of enquiry. It is separate the ‘rent now’ button which is what they select when they want to pay a holding deposit. You can then arrange any number of viewings via the messaging portal, without the need for anyone to pay a holding deposit.
Re screening questions, I have never used OR standard auto screening, and prefer to have my own screening questions set up as default for my adds.
