Property is for sale and tenant refusing access for viewings

Hi, I have recently put my property up for sale. The tenants had co-operated until today, however I had a call from the estate agent today advising the viewing was uncomfortable, the tenant did not give them any privacy to conduct the viewing and put the buyer off at every opportunity. I have had to evict the tenant and now they are refusing to allow access to the property for any viewings until they have left the property, which is now costing me 2 months marketing. Can they legally do this? Thanks

Yes they can.

Personally find it easier to conduct viewings without tenants and their belongings in-situ.

You should wait until they leave.
