My only other rental p[roperty is a town centre 2 bed flat, this time it’s a 4-bed detached family house in a nice village near Aylesbury with a good school. I’m expecting to let it to a family.
The house is being completely refurbished with new kitchen, wc, bathroom, windows and flooring.
I have to make some decisions whether to put up venetian blinds in all the street facing windows and curtain poles in the reare facing lounge and bedrooms.
Any comments on this or should I just put poles up everywhere and leave it to the tenant to put curtains up?
Personally I would put poles up.
Whatever you do isn’t going to suit everyone. The less you supply the less disputes at the end hopefully.
