Renting with a bad credit history ccj

Hello me and my partner both live with parents and we are currently looking to move in together but my partner has a ccj and we have tried renting but have just been turned down. My credit score is in fair and between us we roughly have 3000 a month does anyone have any advice as we are both struggling now to live separately thankyou

Do you have proof it is being paid off?

did you tell the agency/LL about the CCJ at the start of the process or did they discover it?

The 3000 a month doesn’t mean much if we don’t know how much the rent is.

As for advice on “struggling now to live separately”, I’d say enjoy it while it lasts.

Have you considered paying off the CCJ.
When it is cleared you can have a fresh start.
A CCJ is a indication to a landlord that you may not pay money to them.

You say you have ÂŁ3000 a month but isbthat income or left after things have been paid dont firget intop of rent you will want council tax Utilities TV licence and a miriad of all other bills not to mention fuel and running/up keep of cars shopping (both grocery and household) suddenly that ÂŁ3000 dosent seem much
