Dear community, does anyone know if the current £69 Rent Now deal only covers support for a single tenancy agreement when renting out a property intended for shared accommodation (3-4 rooms)? If that’s the case, am I correct in assuming that if I have 4 tenants occupying 4 rooms, the cost would be £69 (for advertising and one AST) + 3 x £69 (for 3 additional ASTs for the other tenants), totaling £276? Would this amount of £276 then cover advertising and tenancy agreement support for all 4 tenants?
Also have further two queries:
-for the Smart rent collection subscription: Does 10£/month cover the house for all tenancy agreement or is it per tenancy agreement?
-for the Rent insurance: is it a common pricing for the whole house or per tenancy agreement?
Our Rent Now service is priced per listing you create - you can view all our prices here:
We offer some guidance on how you can list multiple rooms in one property here; you will only need to pay the Rent Now fee once for the entire property, no matter how many tenancies you set up.
hi friend…. Yes, the £69 Rent Now cost is for each tenancy agreement. So, for four renters, the total is £276. Also, the £10/month Smart Rent Collection and Rent Insurance fees are charged per tenancy agreement, not per home.
Dear Mod_Harry, thank you for your comments and the clarifications you’ve provided on other posts.
Am I correct in understanding that by opting for your £69 offer, which includes advertising for 4 months and AST preparation, the cost would cover the preparation of multiple ASTs. I intend for 4 ASTs and so the costs of £69 would cover these 4 ASTs? If I manage to find only 2 individual tenants for 2 ASTs initially and the other 2 tenants a couple of months later, would those additional delayed ASTs still be covered under the same offer?
Additionally, could you confirm if the £10 per month rent collection service would apply to all 4 ASTs? I’d like to ensure my understanding is accurate and calculate an estimated annual expense of £120 for managing the 4 ASTs through OpenRent.
