Rightmove advertising update

As some of you may be aware, we stopped sending new property adverts to Rightmove a few weeks ago.

I can confirm today that Rightmove has now been re-instated as an advertising partner and we’re very pleased to announce our prices will be staying the same. All landlords who continued to pay for advertising, will see their property automatically added to Rightmove shortly alongside our other advertising partners.

There continues to be no better way to let your property than via OpenRent, and our average time to let a property remains at a market-beating 6 days. We know all 6 million+ users appreciate the efforts from the OpenRent team in ensuring they get the best value for money, and service, in the market. We sadly can’t always disclose full details of negotiations, third-party contracts or market data due to legal restrictions, but really appreciate the trust and support from the community who know we’ve always acted, and will continue to act, in their best interests.

So the news report on LandlordZONE is out of date?
Seems like it, but I would like to check.
We have sold almost all our portfolio but still have 4 and we have been using OpenRent just for access to Right Move, and booking EPCs etc., not Rent Now.
Thanks.

I’m not sure which news report specifically you are referring to, but as of yesterday afternoon and my post above, we have agreed terms with Rightmove going forward as an advertising partner.

You can also see this on our website here:

And on Rightmove here:

Any news report that pre-dates the announcement above will be out of date.

In view of the fact that Rightmove has been re-instated as a partner, I will continue to subscribe to Open Rent in the future.
Thank you
