Hi All
I’m about to sign a contract which will start on the 19th March 2023. It has a 6 month break clause in the contract which says ''the tenant shall have the right to terminate the tenancy herby created by giving two months advance writtn notice to the landlord such notice not to be given prior to the end of the six months of the term and to expire no earlier than the 10th month of the tenancy".
The wording of this seems odd as i read this as i can give notice in sept 2023 (6th month) but cant move out until Jan 2024 (10th month).
Any thoughts?
