Hello, I’ve had an enquiry from two potential tenants (sharing) who both have a student visa but apparently “switching soon to tier2 visas”. They both claim to have jobs, is that possible for people with student visas? Thanks for any helpful advice
Yes it is possible all you need is evidance from employer

Thank you. I’ve received the right-to-rent codes from the two applicants and when I input them on gov.uk it says “They have the right-to-rent until xx/xx/2024”. Presumably because the visa expires then? What needs to happen on that date - new right-to-rent checks?

All foreign students have right to stay in U.K. for 2 years post grad to look for a job. This is why net immigration jumped to 600,000 last year, mainly “students” including 135,000 dependents! And people wonder why rents are up….
