So we have an enquiry from a potential tenant who is going through visa application with home office which may take 6 to 8 months but it seems to me that he would have no right to rent at the moment so I would not be able to legally rent the property to him - is this acurate?
Probably. Ask him if he can give you a share code. If not then he has no right to rent.
As we thought no code and will not be able to get one until visa application complete so unable to rent to him.
If already in country what visa is he on now?
They would be visitor on holiday with no Right to Rent/Work/Study.
Maximum stay 6 months.
He is working so not sure about that but I think he understands that this is an issue and may be he is trying via openrent to avoid the agents
