Tenant failed referencing on a technicality

My tenant has failed referencing on a technicality. The agent has answered false to ‘the tenant has treated the property well’ because they haven’t done the final checkout yet. They have said in the comments that all inspections were good.

The agent is also the same agent I recently bought the property through and who I decided not to use for my lettings. So they could be being difficult.

Could there be any implications for my landlord insurance if I proceed?

The agent has agreed to correct the reference if I can reopen it and send to them again. How can I do this?
