Can anyone confirm if a digital copy of the white landlords version of the gas safe cert can be used to give to tenant?
Does it meet the legal requirement if given at beginning of tenancy?
If you have a prior written agreement with the tenant that documents can be served by email then yes, I believe this copy will be fine.

I haven’t been issued a paper copy of a CP12 for several years now. Only electronic. It is sufficient to pass this on to your tenant through an agreed email address for formal correspondence (need this documented - usually in tenancy agreement) and I always ask for confirmation of receipt by reply.
