Tennant break the new hon

Tennant told me the old hob is dead then i change a new one for him, after a month, tennant said the new hob also dead, pc curry can do exchange, but i have to pay another £80 for new installation.

Tbh, who should pay for it? Me or tennant? Or sharing…

You have to pay. It’s not tenants fault if the hob was faulty. Landlord has to supply working hob for property to be “habitable”.

We install new hob ourselves. It’s really easy. Maybe, look up relevant video tutorials.

Are you a qualified electrician or registered domestic installer? If not youre breaking the law by installing it yourself in a rental property and probably voiding your insurance.
