Hi, my AST will automatically turn into a rolling contract in March I’m assuming the deposit will just sit in the deposit scheme as everything stays the same.

You’re correct - the tenancy deposit will remain protected until the tenancy ends, at which point you can return the deposit to the tenants or raise a claim.
