Transferring tenancy and deposit

we have a buyer for our property who is an investor and happy with tenants in situ.

What is the best/simplest way to transfer the tenancy and deposit?

Deposit protection & tenancy agreement are both through OpenRent.

The buyer will step into the shoes of the landlord upon completion and should ensure they serve a s48/s3 notice on the tenant for change of landlord details. They will automatically inherit the tenancy.

They will have to set up a deposit scheme account and you would then ask your deposit scheme to transfer the amount to their scheme account after they’ve taken over. They will have to re-serve the Prescribed Information.
