Hello. My current situation is that the property I am living in only has my partners name on the tenancy agreement as I moved in with him straight from my parents house. I will not be able to provide a landlord reference. How can I get around this.
If you are living there LL should have given permission for you so can give a reference saying so, how long you were there and that rent has continued to be paid, the property has been taken care of..
Tbh not sure if LLs pay much attention to a previous LL ref unless it is negative. If it’s positive the prev LL could be trying to help bad tenants move on. I know some letting agents dont bother with them.
Anyway everyone starts without a LL reference sometime in their life.
