I’ve just been through referencing this afternoon, and my new potential landlord got the report and it said my previous Landlord reference was “ unreliable”!
Why the hell does that mean to OR?
I’ve emailed my current LL and git a glowing ref back from her which I’ve shared with the new LL.
But I need to understand what OR means by this … anyone else had it? What did it mean? What did you do?

I think it often means they dont believe this person is your landlord or they think that they are not telling the truth to get rid of you.
Tbh your previous LL wouldn’t say you have been a pain in the a** to your face !
Also I take wilth a pinch of salt previous LL references, as I had a potential tenant turn up and gave me a glowing reference from her previous landlord, unbeknown to her the previous LL was my best mate ! And to say she was a liar was giving her credit !
That’s really funny. I’d love to have seen her face when you told her the truth. Probably, pure hate.
